Survey Seeks Feedback on Military Spouse Employment

June 26, 2020

While the national unemployment rate hovers around 13 percent due to limited resumption of economic activity caused by the coronavirus pandemic, employment challenges posed to military spouses remains a pressing issue.

Hiring Our Heroes (HOH) and the Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF) at Syracuse University are conducting a survey to better understand military spouse employment and well-being.

Other research areas of the survey include the “impact employment, unemployment, and underemployment have on military spouse mental health and wellbeing.”

The survey will help researchers develop tools and programs from military spouse employment and help expand current offerings to “improve wellbeing outcomes” for the community.

The 15-minute survey closes on July 10 and can be found here.
