New from ADC and Stantec: Resilience Planning Framework for Communities

May 24, 2021

ADC and Stantec Consulting Services Inc. have released a new framework that will “help empower communities to take significant steps in planning for a resilient future” protected from natural and manmade hazards.

Advancing Resilience for Defense Communities: A Planning Framework” was first announced last week on ADC Live.

“This represents a unique opportunity to protect and address critical infrastructure needs, those shared infrastructure lifelines between the installations and the defense communities themselves,” one of the framework’s authors, Stantec Manager of Resiliency Programming John Malueg, told ADC’s Tim Ford and Matt Borron. “We really see the communities using this document as an expansion of their resilience toolkit.”

The framework outlines how communities can understand their risks and vulnerabilities and lays out a planning process to protect against those threats.
