Virginia-based communications equipment provider Klas Government is opening a 42,000 square foot facility at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, to speed up the use of emerging military technology, Nextgov reported. “Klas saw the value of having a facility on base, which would provide easy access for our government customers to interact with us and our industry partners as well as other programs who were integrating technology onsite,” Chief Revenue Officer Chris Ericksen said….

Fort Hood, Texas recently donated about $30,000 worth of wooden beds and wall lockers to Fort Hood Area Habitat for Humanity, the Fort Hood Sentinel reported.
