DOD Wants Community Input on Military Air Traffic Noise

August 24, 2021

DOD’s Office of Local Defense Community Cooperation is asking for community input on the noise associated with military fixed-wing aircraft. OLDCC’s Community Noise Mitigation initiative is focused on understanding the needs of areas with high-noise traffic “to develop a program that may then support noise mitigation actions by these communities.”

DOD is seeking input from communities near 205 installations. Community members can share feedback through a custom form.
