The Air Force will fall a few percentage points short of its goal to have its force fully vaccinated by Nov. 2.
“We don’t anticipate we will be to a 100% vaccination rate,” Air Force spokesperson Rose Riley said Wednesday, as Defense One reported.
By Tuesday, 94.6% of active duty airmen were fully vaccinated.
Here are the services’ upcoming vaccination deadlines:
- 2: Active Duty Air Force
- 28: Active Duty Navy and Marines
- 2: Air National Guard and Reserves
- 15: Active Duty Army
- 28: Navy and Marine Corps Reserves
- June 30: Army Reserve and National Guard
To be fully vaccinated, a service member must complete the one- or two-dose shot two weeks before the deadline.
