Installation Innovation Preview: Supply Chain Slowdown Impacts Installations

October 14, 2021

President Joe Biden announced steps Wednesday to increase activity at the Port of Los Angeles to help ease supply chain backups that are impacting industries and consumers across the country.

“This is a big first step in speeding up the movement of materials and goods through our supply chain,” Biden said in White House remarks.

ADC will explore how supply chain disruptions impact the defense industry and bases in an Installation Innovation Forum conversation with Steven Morani, acting assistant defense secretary for sustainment.

The session, “Installation & Defense Industry Supply Chains: A New Strategic Imperative,” will focus on how installations, communities and industry partners can adapt to ensure supply and maintenance shortages do not negatively impact mission assurance.

Installation Innovation Forum takes place Nov. 1-3 in San Antonio, Texas.
