The North Florida Land Trust has acquired 157 acres of the Ocala to Osceola, O2O corridor, News4Jax reported. The area is not far from Camp Blanding Joint Training Center. Funding to buy the land from a local timber company came from the Florida Defense Task Force and DOD’s Readiness and Environmental Protection Integration program….

Twenty-five counties in North Carolina and three in South Carolina are the setting for a realistic guerilla training exercise for Army Special Forces candidates starting this week and running for two weeks, The Hill reported. The area will be transformed into a fictional country called Pineland. “Candidates are placed in an environment of political instability characterized by armed conflict, forcing soldiers to analyze and solve problems to meet the challenges of this ‘real-world’ training,” according to the Army’s John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center….

The Joint Chiropractic opened last week at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona, the first chiropractic clinic at an Army & Air Force Exchange Service site. The clinics will open at other Exchange sites this year.
