Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine (R) is deploying 1,250 Guard members to help with overburdened hospitals facing COVID-19 surges, but almost half of the state’s Guard is ineligible to go because they are not yet vaccinated, the Statehouse News Bureau reported. Alfred is the first hygienic food service robot arm in the U.S military, serving Travis Air Force Base, California. “Will Alfred be able to provide the reduction in food waste, improvements in sanitation and manning benefits as projected?” Maj. Tyler Hewko, 60th Force Support Squadron operations officer, said. “We are excited to find out.”
