It will still take years to finish post-hurricane repairs to Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida and Offutt Air Force Base, Oklahoma, Air Force officials told Congress, as Air Force Magazine reported. “As of right now, the way the market is working and how things are going, I suspect that we will also need some money in FY ’24 for that,” Brig. Gen. William H. Kale III, the Air Force director of civil engineers, told lawmakers. The repairs are expected to be finished by 2027 or 2028….

Dane County, Wisconsin is suing the makers of firefighting foam containing PFAS, according to the LaCrosse Tribune. “We are prepared to take the action that is in the best interest of the county,” prosecutor Amy Tutwiler said.
