As it struggles to meet its recruitment goals, the Army announced it will accept new recruits even if they do not have a high school diploma or a GED certificate, as reported.

New recruits must still be 18 years old or older, but if they ship out to basic training this fiscal year, they can do so without a diploma or GED, the Army announced last week.

The military, like many employers, is struggling to recruit across the board.
