Joint Base San Antonio, Texas last week hosted a group of health care education advisors, business executive and administrators from across the country to see the home of Army medicine, according to a press release. “Our key message is simple. We tell our community partners, ‘This is your Army, and we need your help to build it,’” said Lt. Col. Conrad Wilmoski, commander of the 1st Medical Recruiting Battalion, which organized the annual tour of college influencers. Tour participants were encouraged to share what they’ve learned about Army medicine careers with others in their communities….
Marine Corps Community Services Cherry Point recently showed children of Marines what their parents go through in recruit training. Volunteer Marines from Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina helped with the Devil Pups event, according to a DOD story. The participants learned about Marine Corps colors procedures and uniforms, played a bean bag toss and completed a mock combat fitness test.
