Homeschooled students near Fort Belvoir, Virginia will start using facilities at the installation for physical fitness and STEM activities during the regular school day, when the Markham School-Age Center is typically idle, according to InsideNoVa. Corvias has completed energy efficiency upgrades in nearly all homes at Fort Meade, Maryland, it said in a press release. “As a result, we estimate future utility savings of $240 million across installations, which will be reinvested back into our military communities to benefit our residents,” Corvias Managing Director Peter Sims said….
Balfour Beatty Communities and ENGIE Services U.S. recently completed more than $12 million in energy efficiency improvements to more than 1,000 homes at Fort Eustis and Fort Story, Virginia, according to a press release. “Our work with ENGIE is making these military housing communities more resilient and is generating utility savings that will be used to further improve these homes as part of our long-term reinvestment effort,” said Mark Lavin, executive vice president of Balfour Beatty Communities.
