White House to Withdraw Nominee for Manpower Post

The Biden administration will withdraw the nomination of Brenda Sue Fulton to be secretary of defense for manpower and reserve affairs. Her confirmation has stalled in the Senate after Republicans questioned past social media posts criticizing the GOP, as Military Times reported.

The article said the White House will name a new nominee and appoint Fulton to a Veterans Affairs position that does not require Senate confirmation.
