Directors of OLDCC and Defense Innovation Unit to Speak at California Defense Leadership Summit

Defense Innovation Unit Director Michael Brown and Office of Local Defense Community Cooperation Director Patrick O’Brien are among the speakers at the California Defense Summit August 29 and 30 in Sacramento hosted by ADC, the California Defense Communities Alliance and the state.

Maj. Gen. Matthew Beevers, assistant adjutant general of California Joint Force headquarters, and Wade Crawfoot, the state’s natural resources secretary, will also speak, along with community, military and state leaders. Sessions will focus on the Space Force’s future, federal program updates, quality of life issues, grant opportunities and more.

ADC is also hosting the Florida Defense Forum Sept. 22 and 23 in Fort Walton Beach and the North Carolina Defense Summit Sept. 27 in Raleigh.
