ADC’s federal policy focus for 2023 is to promote a ‘One Community’ agenda, as outlined in a webinar Wednesday hosted by ADC’s Federal Outreach and Advisory Council.
The agenda functions as a framework for the council and the ADC board to determine the association’s position on legislation and other policy matters, FOAC Co-Chair Jill McClune said.
The agenda’s four guiding principles are:
- Improve military family quality of life for our service members and families in collaboration with communities
- Invest in the people who make our military work
- Invest in infrastructure and programs that support missions and families
- Advance climate resilience for installations and communities through collaboration
The policy is outlined on ADC’s Federal Outreach page. You can also view slides from the presentation or watch the full webinar.
