There are four days until the government could shut down Saturday night. Senate leaders and appropriators from both sides of the aisle are working on a “clean” continuing resolution to keep the government open for 45 more days at current spending levels.
The plan would not include funding the White House wants for disaster relief and support to Ukraine, Punchbowl News reported this morning. Leaving the Ukraine aid fight for another day may mean the CR could pass with bipartisan support in both chambers.
