The Senate passed the House’s version of a foreign aid package Tuesday night and sent it to President Biden, who said he will sign it.

“A bipartisan majority in the Senate joined the House to answer history’s call at this critical inflection point,” President Biden said in a statement. “This critical legislation will make our nation and world more secure as we support our friends who are defending themselves against terrorists like Hamas and tyrants like Putin.”

The Pentagon has prepared a $1 billion package of aid to send quickly, according to Military.com, which reported some of the munitions the Pentagon plans to send are already in Europe and can get to Ukraine quickly.
