During an Earth Day celebration at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, Assistant Army Secretary Rachel Jacobson introduced the service’s updated conservation plan, the Chesapeake Bay Strategy, recognizing the need for modernization and partnerships to address the bay’s recovery needs, according to an Army story. The revised plan focuses on water quality, living resource restoration, stormwater management and community awareness.
