DOD and NASCAR will commemorate Memorial Day during the Coca-Cola 600, which starts today at Charlotte Motor Speedway in North Carolina, with a tribute to fallen service members, according to a press release. The weekend-long programming includes a STEAM Expo today for local students, a performance by the Army’s All-American Chorus from Fort Liberty, North Carolina, a joint enlistment ceremony, air demonstrations and other activities. This event caps off a monthlong campaign highlighting NASCAR’s military partnership through service member engagements, moments of remembrance and patriotic performances, the release said….

Corvias recently highlighted in a press release the work it’s doing in the Fort Johnson, Louisiana community to prepare its residents for winter and providing support programs, including advocacy for military spouse-owned businesses and a literacy event with Pickering Elementary School. “Together we are creating a foundation for lifelong learning,” Pickering Principal Dana Donaldson said, “and it is encouraging to witness the positive outcomes that result from our shared commitment to education.”
