ADC Connect Service Officials, OLDCC, Community Members to Lead Discussions

June 27, 2024

As Congress continues to work on fiscal year 2025 defense authorization and spending bills, defense community leaders from across the country will meet in Washington, D.C. next month to talk about innovative partnerships in 2025 and beyond.

ADC Connect: The Future of Partnerships is a half-day event July 25 focused on the importance of partnerships in national security and military quality of life.

“From foreign investment, climate resilience, artificial intelligence and cyber security to childcare and spouse employment, the issues facing installations and communities are vast and will require new partnership concepts,” as the event website says.

A Look at the Day

ADC Connect will kick off with a panel of representatives from the military services and the Office of Local Defense Community Cooperation. Following will be a panel of community leaders involved in successful partnerships toward a “One Community” culture.

The event will also feature workshop discussion groups so attendees can help shape the future of partnerships.
