Delaware Armory Sends Solar Energy to Surrounding Community

The Dagsboro National Guard Armory in Delaware was outfitted with solar panels last year, and this summer has begun exporting energy back into the Delaware Electric Cooperative grid, according to Costal Point. Not only do the panels provide cheap and clean energy for the armory, but they also send power to the other 84,000 users of the same grid.

California Reserve Base to Receive New Tanker Planes

March Air Reserve Base, California is set to receive the newest fleet of tanker planes by 2028, according to a Press-Enterprise story. The new tankers will help the base become a key player in controlling tensions in the Pacific. March was downsized in the 1990s to a reserve base, but this investment will likely keep the base open for decades to come.
