Navy Federal Again Partners on Virtual Book Drive

July 23, 2024

Navy Federal Credit Union is once again partnering with the United Through Reading, a nonprofit that promotes reading and literacy among military families, according to a press release.

They are working together on a virtual book drive, where anyone can make a donation through Aug. 10.

“When books are available in our service members’ homes, the whole family benefits,” said Brandi Gomez, military spouse and manager, corporate social responsibility at Navy Federal.

United Through Reading’s Interim CEO Sally Ann Zoll said the 24-year partnership is “a cornerstone of our mission to support military families. This collaboration is particularly significant, as it allows us to provide financial literacy-themed books to military children, empowering them with essential skills for their future.”
