Next Week: OLDCC Webinar for Defense Manufacturing Communities

July 23, 2024

The DOD Office of Local Defense Community Cooperation will host a webinar July 30 on DOD’s Other Transactions (OT) authorities. OTs allow DOD to tap into nontraditional contracting options, such as partnerships at the local and regional level.

“This webinar is tailored for members of defense manufacturing communities, as well as other DOD partners, including those in industry, academia, other federal agencies, and state and local governments,” OLDCC said in an announcement. “Attendees will gain insights into how prototype and production OTs are managed and executed, with a focus on the best practices for consortium-based OT agreements.”

Mary Kathryn Robinson, director for contract policy in Defense Pricing and Contracting, will discuss key aspects of DOD’s Other Transactions Guide.

You can join the webinar through the OLDCC site when it starts Tuesday, July 30 at 3 p.m. Eastern time.
