Army Corps Completes Puerto Rico Storm Management Study

The Army Corps of Engineers recently completed a study of the effects of tropical storms on Ocean Park and Rincon, Puerto Rico and investigated how the federal government should solve the increased risk of erosion and flooding. The recommendations include providing incentives for citizens most at risk of property destruction to relocate.

The state of New Mexico is pursuing a suit against multiple PFAS polluters, including the Department of Defense, Albuquerque Journal reported.

Missouri Base Receives 5G Upgrade

Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri has begun to install a new cell tower and multiple cell bases throughout the installation to provide 5G coverage. The upgrade will limit congestion and improve emergency preparedness and military family leisure time. The tower will be active later this year following an inspection by the Defense Information Systems Agency, according to the Houston Harrold.
