Missouri Community Watches Pilots Train

Community members near Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri gathered recently to watch pilots practice simulated air-to-ground combat. According to an Army story,1,500 spectators came out to watch the drill as eight A-10 Thuderbolts targeted 700 different objects while being tracked by a computer grading system. “Lots of people say they see the planes all the time but just don’t know where they are going or what they are doing,” Air Force Master Sgt.
