Tomorrow: OLDCC Webinar on Noise Mitigation Grants

The DOD Office of Local Defense Community Cooperation Wednesday is hosting the first of two webinars about the Community Noise Mitigation Program grant opportunity.

The first informational webinar will take place Aug. 14 from 3 to 5 p.m. Eastern time. The second will take place Sept. 10 from 3 to 5 p.m. Eastern time. You can join by going to the program’s website at start time.

“This program aims to support communities affected by fixed-wing aviation noise by funding noise mitigation measures at eligible facilities,” OLDCC said in a bulletin.

Applications for the competitive grant program are being accepted through Oct. 22. Learn more through Grants.gov and the OLDCC website.
