The Air Force will meet its goal of 27,100 new recruits this fiscal year, Military Times reported, after having missed its targets in the previous year.

The service has set an even more ambitious goal for fiscal year 2025: 32,500 new airmen, a 20% increase. It has added almost 400 recruiters, many of whom will be stationed in the Southern U.S., Air Force Recruiting Service Commander Brig. Gen. Christopher Amrhein said this week.
