Fort Campbell Signs Three New IGSAs

Fort Campbell, Kentucky recently signed three Intergovernmental Support Agreements, Clarksville Now reported. The agreements create deals with the city of Hopkinsville for bulk salt purchasing, Pennyrile Regional Energy Agency for natural gas transportation and the Christian County Jail for confining soldiers if needed.

Military Surgeons Practice with Illinois Trauma Unit

Stroger Hospital’s Trauma Unit in Illinois partnered with the Navy to provide trauma patient treatment practice for military members to be deployed, CBS News reported. Every year, a new team of Navy doctors trains at the hospital to gain valuable experience doing surgeries in real environments. That team then gets deployed together after developing their cooperation by working together.
