Arizona Military Members Practicing in Medical Simulations

HonorHealth at Phoenix’s Osborn Medical Center is providing an opportunity for military members to practice medical care in lifelike situations simulating real battlefield conditions, AZFamily reported. These practices place personnel in high-stress environments with realistic mannequins and have seen over 3,500 military members get trained. “They’re critically thinking through a lot of anxiety and they need to do that in the battlefield, so we try to mimic that here so they get the best experience,” said Roxanne Flynn, the director of HonorHealth’s military and community partnership.
