Idaho Air Force Base Finds New Sustainable Water Source

Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho partnered with legislators and local company Simplot to find a new water source after its current reservoir was being diminished at an unsustainable rate, the Idaho Water Resource Board shared in a video. The new plan involves a pipeline bringing water from Snake River and having it treated at a new water treatment plant at the base. It is expected to be completed next year.

Navy Week in Las Vegas

Las Vegas is hosting its first Navy Week, allowing officials and sailors to “educate residents about what the Navy offers and how it benefits communities, even when an area is not viewed as a traditional Navy city, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported.
