Spouses in the Spotlight in San Antonio

October 11, 2024

ADC’s upcoming Installation Innovation Forum will feature a special conversation with three of the nation’s highest-ranking military spouses. The session will explore “how defense communities and installations can begin integrating these champions into their local leadership frameworks,” according to the Forum agenda.

The guests are:

  • Sharene Brown, spouse of the Joint Chiefs chair
  • Patty George, spouse of the Army chief of staff
  • Gina Allvin, spouse of the Air Force chief of staff

The session will be moderated by Mona Dexter, vice president of military and veteran affairs at Comcast NBCUniversal.

The second cohort of ADC’s Military Spouse Leadership Initiative will also attend the Forum. The initiative, in partnership with the National Military Family Association, brings military spouses from across the country into conversations with DOD and service leaders to help make them champions for their families and communities.

The Installation Innovation Forum takes place Oct. 28-30 in San Antonio.
