The Marine Corps met its fiscal year 2024 recruitment targets almost to the number, Military.com reported. One Marine pushed the Corps past its goal of 30,500 new enlisted members. Including officers, the Marines recruited 36,286, members, beating its target by 29. “This success is directly attributed to the hard work of our Marine recruiters and Officer Selection Officers working diligently in a competitive and challenging environment,” Jim Edwards, a spokesperson for the Marine Corps Recruiting Command, told Military.com.
