The Air Force last week announced four installation recipients of recipients of the 2024 Air Force Community Partnership (AFCP) Awards. Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Energy, Installations, and the Environment Ravi Chaudhary recognized the installations during an Air Force town hall at ADC’s Installation Innovation Forum.
The awardees were recognized for partnerships they formed with nearby communities over the past two fiscal years:
- Cannon Air Force Base, New Mexico
- Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska
- Ellsworth Air Force Base, South Dakota
- Royal Air Force Fairford, UK
“We are committed to recognizing and honoring installations that continue to achieve innovative partnerships with their local communities and the positive impact those partnerships have, not just at the local level but in the Department of the Air Force as a whole,” Chaudhary said in a press release. “The ties between our bases and the surrounding communities are foundational to the resilience of our installations and the well-being of our airmen, guardians and their families.”
