OLDCC to Host DCIP Listening Sessions

November 5, 2024

The DOD Office of Local Defense Community Cooperation is hosting a series of three virtual listening sessions to solicit feedback on the Defense Community Infrastructure Program, according to an email announcement.

“These sessions are designed to gather input from defense communities, military installations and their representatives,” OLDCC said. Officials said they want to hear feedback about the proposal process, in addition to requirements for funding certain project types, including enhancement categories, installation need and construction readiness.

Sign up to participate in one of the sessions, which will take place:

  • 20, 1 p.m. Eastern time
  • 2, 2 p.m. Eastern time
  • 10, 2 p.m. Eastern time

OLDCC recommends that participants review last fiscal year’s notice of funding before joining a session.

OLDCC Director Patrick O’Brien mentioned the listening sessions during a town hall at last week’s Installation Innovation Forum, as On Base reported along with other moments from his remarks.
