Secretary of the Army Appoints Five New Civilian Aides

Army Secretary Christine Wormuth recently appointed five new civilian aides at a ceremony at the Pentagon, according to an Army story. They are Lester Lumbad from Las Vegas, Rich Morales from East Greenwich, Rhode Island, Lance O’Bryan from Fort Knox, Kentucky, Edward Salo from Jonesboro, Arkansas and Frank Vitale from Morgantown, West Virginia. “Our CASAs are instrumental in building and maintaining relationships between the Army and communities across the country,” Wormuth said.

Local Board OKs New Netflix Studio at Former New Jersey Base

The Oceanport, New Jersey planning board has unanimously approved plans for Netflix to construct a 29-acre production studio at the former Fort Monmouth. The plan will be the first phase of construction for the utilization of the full 289-acre lot that Netflix purchased for $900 million. The plan still needs to be approved by the state authorities and the EPA, according to AP News.
