Chinese Citizen Accused of Flying Drone over Vandenberg

Police have arrested a Chinese citizen they say flew a drone over Vandenberg Space Force Base, California, as Military.com reported. “Agents later searched [his] drone pursuant to a federal search warrant and saw several photographs of Vandenberg Space Force Base taken from an aerial viewpoint,” the U.S. Attorney’s Office said in a news release.

Eielson to Get Refueling Aircraft After Delay

The Air Force is sending four KC-135 tankers to Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, following a yearslong delay. “We look forward to finally welcoming these important aircraft and the 220 active duty personnel and their families to our great state, and better securing America’s security interests in our vital region of the world,” Sen. Dan Sullivan (R-Alaska) said in a press release.
