Fuel Tank Falls Off Eglin F-16, Lands in Nearby Neighborhood

A fuel tank fell off an F-16 at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida Tuesday morning and landed near an elementary school in the nearby community of Niceville, as Military.com reported. Nobody was hurt, and the tank missed buildings and cars. “Only by the grace of God, it landed between two houses,” Niceville City Manager David Deitch said, according to Mid Bay News.

Army Doctor Pleads Guilty to Dozens of Assaults

An Army anesthesiologist pleaded guilty this week to 41 counts of sexual assault that took place at Madigan Army Medical Center at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington between 2019 and 2022, as Military Times reported. Maj. Michael Stockin’s court-martial trial started Tuesday. A judge will hear victim statements before deciding whether to accept the plea.
