New Task Force Will Promote ‘Merit-Based, Color-Blind Policies’ at DOD

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is forming a new task force to further roll back diversity, equity and inclusion programs. The panel will promote “merit-based, color-blind policies” at DOD.

Part of the task force’s mandate is to ensure “the department will not consider sex, race or ethnicity when considering individuals for promotion, command or special duty,” Military Times reported.
