D.C. Delegate Calls for Funding for Park Cleanup Initiative
U.S. Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-D.C.) has requested funding from the Trump administration for a cleanup initiative for Fort Totten Park. The proposed initiative would pair the Parks Department with the Army Corps of Engineers to identify and clean up any remaining chemical weapons, WTOP News reported.
