Sean Parnell, a combat veteran and former congressional candidate in Pennsylvania, has been named chief Pentagon spokesperson and assistant to the secretary of defense for public affairs, as CBS News reported.
“Sean is a fearless Patriot & Combat vet who exudes courageous leadership & selfless service,” Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth wrote in an X post. “Can’t wait to welcome you to the Pentagon brother.”
Parnell thanked Hegseth and President Trump for the opportunity.
“Time to get to work!” Parnell wrote in an X post.
