Responses to the RFP are due March 21.
N.C. Bill Would Limit Foreign Investment Near Bases
Nouth Carolina lawmakers have introduced legislation with bipartisan support that would protect land near military bases from foreign ownership, as North State Journal reported.
“Having grown up on a family farm, I know how important it is to preserve North Carolina’s farmland,” Rep. Jennifer Balkcom (R) said. “Our state’s agricultural land is one of our most important assets, and it is common sense that we protect it from foreign enemies.”
