Energy Resilience Is Crucial to Readiness, Converge’s Rogers Says

June 13, 2025

Will Rogers, principal of Converge Strategies, recently spoke with the Federal News Network about the crucial role energy preparedness plays in national security. He stressed the importance of diversifying energy investments to ensure the base can be energy-independent but also strengthen community ties and their grid.

“All of the troops and their families and defense civilians, they live in the community,” Rogers said. “All those on-base resilience measures, they don’t really do anything to help support people living in the community. So you really have to do both.”

Much of the interview focused on “Unleashing the Grid: Energy Dominance for National Defense,” written by Converge Strategies and released in March with ADC.
