Navy Fixes California Port Infrastructure, Saving Millions on Replacement

The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division recently repaired a waterfront launch structure at Naval Base Ventura County in collaboration with Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Southwest and the Seabees of Naval Construction Group One. The repairs will save the base a projected $5 million, according to a DVIDS story.

Maryland Base Receives Military Housing Upgrades

Fort Meade, Maryland has begun receiving military housing and energy improvements as part of key Corvias initiatives, according to a Corvias press release. The work will improve foundational infrastructure, energy systems, and quality-of-life systems such as climate control The project serves nearly 3,000 homes and is projected to be completed in 2029.
