Guam Governor to Host Defense Forum

The upcoming Guam Defense Forum will bring together community members, industry leaders, and policymakers to discuss Guam’s crucial position in U.S. defense efforts.

“The Guam Defense Forum is about bringing our community together with defense and regional partners to ensure Guam’s voice is heard in shaping the future of security in the Indo-Pacific,” Guam Gov. Lou Leon Guerrero said in a press release.

Hosted by the governor and Guam’s Community Defense Liaison Office, the event is taking place Sept. 17 and 18.

San Diego Center Partners with VA to Support Transgender Veterans

The California Department of Veterans Affairs hosted a workshop supporting transgender service members who were removed from the military. The event was hosted at the San Diego LGBT Community Center and provided resources for housing assistance and legal counseling, KUSI reported.
