JBLM Hosts Suicide Education March

Coinciding with this month’s National Suicide Prevention Month, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington hosted the fourth annual Fill the Ruck march. The event took participants through a 4.1-mile course dotted with learning stations for suicide prevention. At the end of the march donation bins for charities waited, a tradition of the event that saw $11,000 of toys and 1,000 pounds of non-perishable food donated at last year’s event, according to an Army story.

Marines Launch First-of-its-Kind Operational Logistics War Game

The Marine Corps Logistics Command in Albany, Georgia recently hosted its first ever Operational Logistics Wargame with over 100 participants. Different scenario exercises showcased the importance of logistic planning for managing resources and forces, giving participants experience in collaborating and preparing for conflict. More exercises are planned to follow suit in the future, according to a Marines announcement.
