RFP: Grand Forks Air Force Base Compatible Use Study
Grand Forks County, North Dakota is soliciting proposals to conduct a compatible use study for development around Grand Forks Air Force Base, according to an RFP.
“The purpose of the study is to identify, evaluate and address land use, airspace, electromagnetic spectrum and other compatibility issues in order to protect the long-term sustainability of GFAFB while supporting regional development,” according to the notice.
The study will be in coordination with the DOD Office of Local Defense Community Cooperation, the installation, local jurisdictions and regional stakeholders.
Proposals are due Oct. 14.
Virginia Base Hosts Small Business Expo
Fort Belvoir, Virginia is preparing to host a three-hour Entrepreneurship and Small Business Expo on Oct. 8, according to the event’s page. The expo will bring in small business owners to speak on how to become an entrepreneur and provide resources for attendees to start their own businesses.
