Veterans Talent Show Hosted in Mississippi 

The Armed Forces Retirement Home in Biloxi, Mississippi recently partnered with the Hard Rock Cafe to host “Voices of Valor,” a talent show for veterans. Presenters included singers, comedians, and a clown, WLOX reported. The event is part of Hard Rock Cafe’s Veteran’s Day initiative, which will also include free food for veterans and active military on the day. 

Illinois Base Hosts Student Trainees 

Three students are serving as trainees at Rock Island Arsenal, Illinois, working with the Security Assistance Management Directorate. MacKenzie Kent, Austin Tubbs, and Addison Southwick all work to support partnerships between bases and sell munitions. 

“I like the mission and what it stands for,” Southwick said in an Army report. “You are able to make an impact not only for the United States but also for other countries and help them with the ability to defend themselves.
