Fort Leonard Wood Prepares Thanksgiving Meals for Service Members 

Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri is preparing for its yearly Thanksgiving meal served across the installation’s restaurants, according to an Army report. The event will serve the thousands of service members on the base as well as many more Gold Star families, veterans and family members, expecting to include over 28,000 meals at the Army Warrior restaurants on the installation. 

Nonprofit Supports Veteran Mental Health 

Operation Warrior Resolution founder Kendra Simpkins was recently interviewed by Observer and shared the mission of her nonprofit that has run since 2018. Operation Warrior Resolution’s eight employees work to support veterans with mental health services, and they recently expanded with a new facility in Manatee County, Florida.
