Fort McCoy Hosts Turkey Trot Run 

Dozens of community members participated in the 2025 Turkey Trot run at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin, where the first-place man and woman took home turkeys. The event took place in front of the Rumpel Fitness Center and was organized by the Fort McCoy Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation, according to an Army report. 

Leonard Wood Plans for New Hospital on Base 

The Leonard Wood Community Hospital is set to open this April in Missouri, bringing state-of-the-art medical support for service members on base. The hospital will replace one of the oldest hospitals on base and will help improve the quality of care with new surgery suites and sustainable architecture.
