Yuma Hosts Testing for Low-Cost Drones 

Yuma Proving Ground Arizona, a 2025 Great American Defense Community, has recently been testing new drones to be mass produced in accordance with the Army’s new drone production goals, according to an Army report. The installation’s 2,000 miles of airspace in ideal conditions made it perfect for testing new designs that will hopefully be mass produced in the next two to three years. 

Colorado Nonprofit Offers Free Tech Training for Veterans 

The Denver-based nonprofit ActivateWork provides free IT training for members of underserved communities, including veterans. The group was recently approved by the DOD Skillbridge program, meaning it can now offer training for service members as they are leaving the military. The program runs for 15-17 weeks and provides training in “cybersecurity, data analytics and IT support,” according to The Denver Gazette.
